FBM is the UK’s largest processor of secondary Zinc residues. All material, whether sourced within the UK or imported from overseas is processed, conditioned and positioned to specific markets to ensure the maximum recovery of Zinc and therefore value of the material.
Materials are normally bought as a waste from a specific manufacturing or recovery process, once processed - either through our ball milling or blending facilities, the material is then sold into various markets for further Zinc recovery including the following:
- Zinc Metals & Alloys
- Zinc Oxide
- Zinc Pigment
- Zinc Dust
- Zinc Sulphate
Environmentally Friendly
Working closely with the Environment Agency, FBM is fully licenced & permitted to handle a wide range of secondary Zinc material including hazardous wastes. Through various processing techniques, FBM is able to recover waste which would have been previously sent to landfill, realising serious environmental benefits in the process.
